Lvkang nail-free adhesive bonds most indoor substrates such as tile, wood, metal, PVC and gypsum board, and reaches its highest strength on clean, dry surfaces. Apply a dot every 15–20 cm for light-duty fixing and allow about 24 hours to cure. Load limits depend on bond area and substrate, so check the product label, and still use mechanical fixings for heavy items.
Nail-free adhesive bonds, glass (silicone) sealant seals — they are not interchangeable. Nail-free adhesive uses a rubber elastomer base for strong bonding of skirting, wall panels and trim, while silicone sealant offers better elasticity and weather resistance for sealing kitchens, bathrooms, doors and windows. In practice the two are used together: bond first, then seal the edges.
Nail-free adhesive usually skins over in 10–30 minutes and fully cures in about 24 hours; low temperature and high humidity slow this down. Clean the substrate of oil and dust, keep it dry, press the parts together, hold them with tape or a prop, and avoid any load or pulling for 24 hours. Yes. Lvkang 777 kitchen and bathroom anti-mildew sealant is purpose-made for wet areas: kitchen and bath edge sealing, shower enclosures, sink and hob surrounds, toilets and washbasins. It comes in clear, translucent and bright white, packed 300ML per cartridge (24 per carton), skins over in about 30 minutes, yields roughly 12–15 metres per cartridge at a 5 mm bead, and has a 9-month shelf life.
Use neutral-cure silicone for doors, windows and curtain walls. Acid-cure silicone releases acetic acid as it cures, which smells sharp and corrodes metal, coated glass and stone, so it only suits glass and ceramics. Neutral-cure silicone is substrate-friendly and weather resistant, and is the standard choice. Lvkang sealants are mainly neutral-cure silicone; 225 system door and window sealant and 1688 door and window weather sealant are common picks.
Keep the bead dry for the first 24 hours, and wait 48–72 hours before long-term water contact. Silicone skins over in about 30 minutes, but that is only a surface film — water at this stage disrupts curing and causes whitening or peeling. For showers, sinks and aquariums, wait 48–72 hours. Thicker beads, lower temperatures and higher humidity all slow curing; check the product label for specifics.

Match the tile colour family: the same shade looks seamless, one shade darker outlines the joints. Epoxy grout offers strong adhesion, high gloss and good value for indoor floors and walls, while polyurea resists yellowing and flexes better, suiting balconies, outdoor areas and light-coloured tiles. Doing it yourself takes five steps: 1. clean the joints to at least 3 mm deep and vacuum out the dust; 2. tape or wax both sides of the joint; 3. cut the nozzle at 45° and apply at a steady speed; 4. strike the joint with a ball tool within 30 minutes; 5. remove the residue after 24 hours. Work between 5 and 35 °C and make sure joints are dry — trapped moisture causes bubbling and peeling.

Apply two to three coats with alternating directions, waiting 4–8 hours between coats until each is dry. In bathrooms, take wall waterproofing to about 1.8 m in the shower area and at least 30 cm elsewhere, and cover the whole floor; reinforce wall-floor junctions, corners and pipe roots first. Then run a 24–48 hour ponding test before tiling. Lvkang offers JS polymer cement waterproofing plus K11 general and flexible types.
Rigid waterproofing suits stable wall substrates — it bonds strongly and tiles can be fixed directly on it. Flexible waterproofing has elongation and absorbs slight movement and vibration, making it the choice for floors, pipe roots, corners and junctions between old and new structures. A common approach is rigid on walls and flexible on floors, such as K11 general type on walls and K11 flexible type on floors.

Lvkang indoor adhesives are mainly water-based and low-odour formulations that comply with China's limits on hazardous substances. Solvent-based adhesives release volatile organic compounds while curing, whereas water-based MS adhesives and low-odour ranges such as odourless all-purpose adhesive and N8 odourless foam spray adhesive smell far less. Ventilate during use, and check the product test report and label for specific data.
