Match the tile colour family: the same shade looks seamless, one shade darker outlines the joints. Epoxy grout offers strong adhesion, high gloss and good value for indoor floors and walls, while polyurea resists yellowing and flexes better, suiting balconies, outdoor areas and light-coloured tiles. Doing it yourself takes five steps: 1. clean the joints to at least 3 mm deep and vacuum out the dust; 2. tape or wax both sides of the joint; 3. cut the nozzle at 45° and apply at a steady speed; 4. strike the joint with a ball tool within 30 minutes; 5. remove the residue after 24 hours. Work between 5 and 35 °C and make sure joints are dry — trapped moisture causes bubbling and peeling.
